      Wilwood Tandem Master install

I installed a Wilwood tandem master cylinder on my '73 Camaro, and in an effort to spare anyone else the aggravation I went through figuring the proper way, to get this install completed I am offering a parts list to do this easily.

Threaded Heim joint with 3/8"-16 female threaded end and a 3/8" eye - purchased from http://www.mpbrakes.com/
      3/8"-24 ... 1 1/2" long threaded rod - McMaster-Carr
      3/8"-24 ... 1 1/8" long coupler nut - McMaster-Carr
      5/16"-18 thread nylock Shoulder Screw ... 3/4" shoulder length, 3/8" shoulder diameter - McMaster-Carr
High strength alloy flanged bushing ...1/2" o.d. (to fit hole in brake pedal), 3/8" i.d.(to fit shoulder screw diameter) - McMaster-Carr

Install threaded rod into threaded end of Heim joint, screw threaded rod into coupler nut, screw other end of coupler nut onto the Wilwood master cylinder push rod.

Install flanged bushing into the hole in the brake pedal (you must remove the stock shoulder stud), insert shoulder screw through the bushing, slide eye of Heim joint onto shoulder screw, install nut onto threaded end of shoulder screw and tighten. Don't forget to install your pedal return spring.

I can take a picture if anyone wants to see this.

      Scott

As a note, it was a complete bolt-on in my first-gen before I installed the balance bar.

if I hear this one more time....I will then believe that I was sold the wrong MC.......the evidence is leaning that way.
