Just installed the kit, fuel lines, and pump. I now have to turn the key and wait for the line to pressurize before I can start it. Am I missing a check valve. I thought it was in the pump? Am i wrong. Is this hurting performance?

This also happens on production car systems. It really depends on how well sealed the check valve and regulator are. All systems will bleeed pressure over time, just a matter of scale.

On my system, I just start cranking. By the time the engine is spinning, the fuel rail is near enough to opertaing pressure I usually fire
