I was at the Indy Bash this weekend and managed to snap of few pics of the car before I drooled all over it!!! That has got to be the sweetest production built car I have ever seen! The car is just perfect! Here are a few pics.

I wonder if my engine is in it?

Next time look to see if there's an X painted in orange on the back of the supercharger

      Love that color...

We had a black one here at the dealer last week. Pure sex on wheels I say, pure sex on wheels.

After I saw it I thought about ZR1 brakes for my malibu... Then I saw a list price of $1695.00 per rotor!.... I think Z06 brakes will be just fine.

      Droooooolllllllll

Yeah I have looked at em. I thought I might try to get one. Then I saw the sticker and man that is a lot but for a Lambo/Porshe/Ferari you name it American Ass Kicking Machine it would probably be worth it, so I called around and found a dealer that was getting one. 25,000 over sticker will get you on the list to get one. Ha thats funny Ill find someone that will sell it for sticker. The next call the guy says man if you can get it for 25 over go ahead I am getting 50,000 so I guess I wont be getting a ZR1 anytime soon. Anyways sweet ride for those people that have won the lottery or have much higher paying careers than i do. Guess Ill wait till production really cranks up and see if the price comes down some like it did with the Z06 that everyone over paid for in the beginning..

I didn't get any engine shots. I got there after the rain and they had already closed the hood. Bummer for me as I would have loved to had seen the engine bay.

Here is a link to all the ZR1 pics, with some more of my favorties below.

Thanks for the pics. First one I've seen without chrome wheels. It looks better with silver wheels, less blingy. That cyber gray color is my favorite on them.

The ZR1 is nice, but the best thing about it is the reduction it's caused in Z06 prices, 50k seems to be going price for a less than 10k 07.

That truly is a car to strive for...and just think, the Z06 WAS my dream car. I'd still take either though.

I could do without the blue calipers, but love the rest of it!

It takes a very, very good driver to push that car to its limits.

I just picked up a used 06 z06 this summer and it's an animal, I can't imagine adding another 120-135hp to it; granted the zr1 is 200# heavier, but damn, the z06 is as fast or faster than my camaro in street trim and that's saying something. (and it gets 27mpg highway compared to 15-16 for the camaro!) If only they took kidneys on trade, I could have done the zr1!
