Wiring COP Coils - LS2

each coil has 4 leads - trigger wires in the middle, flanked by power leads.

what gauge should the power leads be? i gots blank wire connectors without any leads.

these coils are the 'Delphi D585' LS2 truck coils - they have the same connectors as standard LS2 coils, but they are a bit bigger with a heat sink on them.

also - the positive power lead needs to come from a switch source. i guess it depends on gauge/current in the wire, but what's the best way to switch this? through a standard 30a relay directly to the battery?



i keep thinking about the MSD 6AL box has such a big power lead wire (with relay inside MSD box) wired directly to battery, but GM COP setups have much smaller power leads that i think come standard switched power bus.
