      Strange Google Chrome issues

With Opera & firefox, I had the Quick Links hyperlink on the top right (near the username box). Chrome...not there.

When I click the forum tools link, it doesn't open the tools box...just brings me to the bottom of the page.

Anyone else using Chrome and having similar issues?

just thinking out loud here,....it's hard enough for sites and web developers to make sure everything works well with the browsers and versions we have today.

Adding yet one more browser to the mix,....from Google no less, and having it have little issues like that is a major PITA. I hope they come out with some patches that can address this little stuff that doesn't work correctly. (seems weird to me anyway, it's a simple drop-down menu....and VBulletin is one of the most popular web-site programs out there)

If all the browsers were 100% standards compliant we wouldn't have these interoperability issues. Microsoft is notorious for non-standards compliance, although they're beginning to work through these issues with IE 8. Opera and Firefox have made huge leaps in holding these standards with little deviation.

The fact that it doesn't work is odd, since Chrome is based on Webkit (same framework as Apple's Safari browser) I just tested Safari on the Mac and it works as it should. I've been testing Chrome at work, but never visited the forum. I'll give it a look tomorrow.

I deal with this everyday at work. Everyone wants the latest and greatest but we cant support everything.

I use a MAC at home with Safari and love it to death. Id rather use that then my PC anyday. So much faster and problem free.
