      I've got a detroit locker in mine and love it.

      I've never noticed the clicking but when I go around corners sometimes it squeels the tires for a quick sec before it lets loose.

      Well... Detroit's dont click (like their brothern cross shaft driven derivatives.)

      When they reset... it's a bang. Dovatail's are definately positive engagement.

      X 2 on Eaton True-Trac ; I have this in my Moser MO875. I love it - excellent product.

      Quaife is another excellent unit of similar design.

      I ran the tru-trac and aluminum housing in my old 96 Camaro. Ran high 9's in the 1/4 (6-speed car) and many miles on the street with no problems.

      Locker guy here. 35 spline axles are a bonus too. You can't get that much axle in anything other than a Locker (I'm not counting spools).
