I think that would look great. I have a fabricated aluminum spoiler on the back of my car. I didn't want to do the same in the front for fear of damage--even a small rock could leave an annoying ding. Getting a jack under the front of the car could present a problem as well. If you proceed, consdier making it shorter than stock (further from the ground).

Or make it adjustable/moveable?
If possible it would be a good idea to make the front spoiler adjsutable in some fashion to allow it or part of it to rotate up out of the way of a jack. A quick pin pull and a flap could rotate up out of the way maybe? Just thinking out loud, obviously the more intent one is on looks the less likely one would want to have more hinges/fasteners in view, so there is a bit of give and take here. I think I will either have to do something like this on the bottom of the front air dam on my 71 Camaro (not a stock spoiler), find a super short jack, or jack from the side just enough to get a short jack to fit under the front.

All good ideas. Steve, I actually thought of this after seeing the rear spoiler on your car. I'd love to fab one up from some aluminum with some air inlets up to a ram air box. There is a pic of something similar in the VB garage but I'm not smart enough to post the link.
