      Detroit Speed....

Be careful ordering from "our" sponsor. Purchased power steering lines from them and they sent the wrong ones, and charged me a restocking fee plus shipping...so I'm done with them. Customer service is definately a thing of the past.

Did you call them and give them a chance to make it right?

I did give them a chance. Was told they would call back. I ended up calling and they told me they" gotta charge something for paperwork and all." this quote by Jason and his sales manager. I like some of their stuff I saw at Goodguys in Nashville. I totally disagree with their customer service though.

Seems like they made it right in the end. Ideally one call should have done it, but they did not abandon the guy. I am not a DSE leg humper, but they have never treated me anything but right.

The restocking / paperwork fee does sound questionable.

DSE has always treated me right... I have bought the speed 3 kit, deep tubs, Baer brake kit, DSE m/c and booster, PS pump, etc.. I even screwd up on the PS pump, sent it back and switch out to remote resevoir pump, they cut the restocking fee in half.. There stuff is top notch and the demand is high for quality pieces, no reason to discount prices...just my 2 cents... Mark

I am in a service business and one thing that can set you apart from your competitors is not letting situations like this happen. In the grand scheme of things, the monetary gain of a restocking / paperwork fee is peanuts compared to having satisfied customers who may very well recommend your business to their friends. It is a small investment to make, relatively easy when things are going good, and is something that could help carry your business through bad times due to increased customer loyalty.

Hassle free returns. Jeg's will let you return anything for up to a year, I believe, with a receipt no questions asked. Sure you pay shipping, but other than that, there is no risk to the consumer.

After I thought about it a little, I am disappointed. Look what arrogance did to GM.

I just wanted to reply to let those whom have replied or looked at this thread to let everyone know I resolved this matter with DSE. Mrs. Tucker reassured me of their quality of customer service, and their strive to be the best in their field. Im happy we resolved the issue, and have a renewed faith in DSE. Thanks
