      Norcal roadtrip.....

I was thinking about this again. Maybe sometime in Oct so the weather is bit better for the guys who dont have a/c! I have a pretty good idea of a decent route. I was thinking meet up in the morning. Then a nice senic drive for appox 1 hour or so. Then meet at a resturant for a nice breakfast. Then if other want to continue we can head out for another hour or so. Then hang out for a bit/take pics and turn around and head for home. What do you guys think???

Sounds like a good idea. Maybe end it at a local carshow. I know Sun Valley Mall in Concord has a gathering every friday.

I guess no one drives their cars out here in NorCal. Too busy on the forums reading I guess.

I'd be up for something, but October is going to be crazy for me with the house and kid #2 on the way in Nov. Spring?

Yep.....For some reason very few people in the Norcal area get out and drive their cars much. I figured this would be a great way to end the summer!

Well mine currently lacks an engine, trans, suspension, brakes and interior. Otherwise I'm ready to go.

Since alot of the major events happen everywhere but on the West Coast we definately need something out here. What about a "Run Up The Coast" event for us West Coast members. Come on Larry, I'm sure we can come up with something.

What would be really fun, but may require a lot more planning, would be a caravan from northern cal to southern cal on a Friday, meet up with the guys in so cal, then maybe do a drive up angeles crest or something!

      OR

So cal guys come here and we do a drive up highway 9 and have lunch or dinner at Alice's. That may actually be more fun.

My friend with a 69 Chevelle in Livermore would be in too I'm sure. He only hangs out at the Chevelle forum.

Damn this thread is old! Nice revival...

I am actually ready very soon to cruise. Who else is? I will be at the GoodGuys show in Pleasanton next month with the Gearhead Garage crew and a few of their cars.
