      DC Controls DRLA

Is anyone familiar with the DC Controls DRLA for controlling two speed fans. I'm trying to decide between it or the FK50? to control my Taurus fan. I can't find any information on the DRLA. I have the fuse blocks and relays to run the fan, but I still need a controller.

I've priced the fan temp switches and thermostat house extensions and they are close to the price of the FK50, So I'm trying to figure out an affordable solution that really works.

I would like my low speed to come on at 195 and off at 185 and the high speed to come on at 205. Ideally, the engine will stay between 185 and 190. My Vintage Air AC will have a ground signal to turn on the low speed fan, not a positive signal.

The dlra has a seven degree hysteresis and a seven degree offset

      eg:

      low on- 187 off- 180
      high on- 194 off- 187

AC input for all of the controllers is positive, but it wouldn't be difficult to make a inverter or just tap off the AC clutch

An fk35 will also work for that fan
