      Powder Coat Question

i am going to have my chris alston camaro front clip powder coated. the guy that is doing it said that he can plug all the holes but doing that leaves a little build up around each plug. he suggested just retaping the holes after. what do you guys think is best.
      thanks

I'd leave the holes open and re-tap them later. It's a little bit of a hassle, but it comes out nice and clean.

on the other hand, he should try to keep sand out of the threads, cause you will break taps and want to kill him if there is sand stuck in the threads.

he's right when they sandblast the hole it makes a mess . i used short set screws in the holes to plug them just below the surface.
