OK, so you right for being stubborn and waiting. Those are awesome!

The owner at Bonspeed and I had a long talk today. The entire Boyd thing (LOOONNNNGGGGG Story) really caused some issues, along with some industry wide shortages of materials for a while. Looks like things are getting caught up now. Our last set of wheels on order is shipping this week. I have some promises going forward about delivery schedules, and we are happy to say we are back selling Bonspeed again. Still one the best wheels deals in the industry.

      Thanks...

      Thanks Frank

The lip is just under five inches. That's on a 9" rim! Frank got me a narrowed rear for my G-bar so we changed the backspacing to give us a deeper lip. I think it will look good on the car, like I got some fat meats on the back. I didn't want to mini-tub, so this was the next best option. I will post up pics of them on the car hopefully this weekend. By the way the wheels are Bonspeed GT-B.

Sounds like the same situation I went through with Centerline. Their excuse was that their employees aren't used to doing custom work. All we did was have them blast the whole inside and not just certain parts. Wow i will never order from them again. We didn't send them back it took long enough.

      bonspeed Wheels

Hey guys, just thought I would stick my message in this thread. Like Frank says we spoke today about Sunset and some other customers and bonspeed is back to a strong delivery schedule.

Sunset your wheels took way to long and we apologize for that delay, but I cannot begin to tell everyone what a year it has been for the two-piece wheel industry and us at bonspeed. Outer rim supplier and factory problems are not the fault of our customers and we worked through them, but it took some time. Thanks to all our dealers like Frank who understand and stand by bonspeed.

I have been reading the threads and know that we have taken our lumps along with some other wheel brands. Remember, when three-piece rim halves are available it does not mean that 2-pc parts are available. bonspeed has supported this site since the first year as a sponsor and supporter, it is one of the best on the web. I hope all of you will continue to support bonspeed.

      Thanks!

John, I know we sent a replacement set of polished caps over a month ago and Bill asked that you return the original caps for refinish. They never showed up so send them down so we can help you out. If you need the shipping address call our tech line 714.666.1966.

Now, some vendors are always quicker than others, but that doesn't help your case much if there is a specific brand/style you want and got to have it.

Realistically, guys should be ordering their wheels sometime in December to have them ready for the next show season. Next time you see an end of year sale on custom built wheels, keep that in mind!

Actually proper planning would take care of this long lead time issue, this is still no excuse.

BRAD I don't know you nor have a done any buisness with you. I would however like to commend you. I tend to try to poke @ vendors allot on this board an others. (mostly for the fun but sometimes to call out some obvious BS) In this case you seem to have taken your lumps owned up to the problem and hopefully you and your team are moving forward with a good plan. I takes allot to own up to a situation and you have done so here. you should be commended and I will order wheels from you when I am ready.!

XLex and Don....Thanks for your comments and all I can say is bonspeed takes customers service very seriously. I have been on the customer end of things as a car enthusiast and know how a bad experience can leave a good customer feeling.

bonspeed is now regularly delivery our wheels in record time. I will now have some time to show off some customer cars and new wheel styles!
