1988 Lincoln Towncar Starter Problems
I know this isn't a pro touring car, but its a ford 5.0 motor. I went to start my car last night and the starter wouldn't disengage. I revved it up and it went away enough to make it home. But this morning it wouldn't go away, it keeps whining and not going away. Its been 105+ the last couple days, I don't know if that makes a difference or not. I changed the starter this morning and its still doing it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Check the Solenoid on the fender well. Make sure it has a good ground, or replace it. Also your ignition switch under the dash can cause this.
