      Header temps

Help, I.m sure my 95 LT1 is running on 7 or 6 cyls, the hedder temps are, cyl 1 and 2 which are at the front are running at least 100f lower than the center 1s , take the plug lead and the sound stays the same, what i intend to do is fit a new set of plugs a run then remove plugs to check, but would like to know what exhaust temp differance i should be seeing.

If the cyl is not firing at or really poorly all you'll usually see a bigger difference. (200-250 degrees) Also header shape makes a difference, I have a couple pipes that run 150 hotter than others on an idle check just because the pipe has a hard bend coming off the head.

      How do the plugs look?
Being an LT-1; optispark issues come to mind right away too. Very common although more on the earlier lt1's.
