      EFI hose information

Here's an interesting excerpt from Aeromotive's tech tips:

      [LEFT]
All hose listed in this catalog is suitable for use with
leaded and unleaded fuels. However, caution must
be used in fuel injection systems that recirculate fuel.
This causes fuel to oxidize which can attack the hose
inner tube. To increase service life, keep the time of
exposure to the oxidized fuel to a minimum. Drain
hose line or flush with original fuel or other
      suitable material.
I think we've all heard that some fuel line "stinks". and that Teflon hoses are the only ones that will not have this problem. Maybe this is why.
(BTW, I know some people have not had any problems. Most of the rest of us either have had problems, or want to make sure that we don't have problems somewhere down the road.)

From what I saw on Aeroquip's site, almost all their hoses are AQP lined. IIRC, the A/C and teflon hoses are the only exception.

I know I'm still trying to decide on what hose to use on my car.
