      71 demon build

Never really intro'd my project.......with the help of Bruning Auto Design it's finally movin again

6.1 hemi is in for the most part. Raised it up a couple inches. Centered the motor in the engine comp

-AlterK front suspension has been raised into the frame rails
-Tri 4 link raised to get the stance right
-Gonna run some DPE R-07's on 255/35/18 and 345/30/19's
      -Paddle shifted Auto trans
-Lots of body mods, firewall, inner fenders, drip rails etc......smooth and shaved
-Killer stance with realistic ground clearance 5"+.....Bruning guys obviously know how to get the stance right, see challenger build

Looks good man , mine was a low buck build. You go for it with the A-bodys . I am curious to see where you end up with this .
Do you have a budget in mind ?

No set $$ budget. But there is an end to the wormhole ($$_). My brother is a painter, so that will help quite a bit.

Your car is not a low-buck compared to what most do with Abody mopars.......

With your brothers help that will be nice.
Mines seems low buck in relation to the direction your heading.
Keep us updated on it. I am really loving the Mopars !

We are working with Rob to maximize his budget by spending time on the details that matter the most. Rob wanted a coilover car with a low ride height. We were able to make "slight" changes to Rob's existing alterkation k-member and rear 4-link without breaking the bank.

New pictures added to Rob's gallery on our website-

-New Wilwood hubs installed up front, sub-rails modified, and frame side lower control arm mounts were raised (more work to be done on the rear)

I have the Alter-k-tion in my 'cuda but wish it was fit like yours is. That is nice work as always from BAD. Did you get the rear suspension from Bill too?
I ordered the Air Bar from him with QA1's. I too wanted coilovers all the way around instead of bags.
So, with all these pro-touring inspired Mopes around, do you think the numbers matcher Mopar purists are having heart attacks?

I had the rear built before Bill had his street lynx rear finished. The mopar purists would rather let the car rust out than do what I am doing to it

Which wheels are you going with? I see two kinds.

      Neither......they are just for mock-up

Still trying to nail down which ones exactly. ID luxury (intro) ID301's, DPE R-07's,Iforged Sprints .....polished hoops w/ a satin black center or similar

Let me give you a little advice....I-forged are VERY heavy ! We just disassembled a set for a BMW to be blasted and powder coated due to there coating flaking off. The centers were so heavy !
DPE ...well lets just say we had 2 sets on that were to be on our last years SEMA car and they ended up giving us a full refund.

A customer of ours Bought some DPE wheels and had them sent to us for another build and the issues we had with our 1st 2 sets of wheels were still on this set he had made.

HRE has been so great to work with in every aspect ! Plus wheels at your door in 30 days !

I would wait until you've painted it. The paint will help dictate the design. I have been very busy lately and that is one of the toughest parts...deciding which wheels to go with. Are you still planning to stay with the paint scheme?

I think the one you chose was the Charcoal grey/silver combo.

Nice too see you are dropping a Hemi in there! It is coming along very well!

Thanks for the advice.......it's nice to hear feedback from people who have dealt with high end wheels first hand.

Datsbad- do you have a pic of your car at ride height?? Curious to see how the ground clearance is. You went with a 245/35 in front right??

I was thinking along the same lines as far as paint for my 'cuda. I would paint my Wilwoods red and have the red line in the grille like they originally cam with.

      few updates....

Rear 4-link getting re-done.....ride height and few other issues with some previous work. Headers arrived and fit.

Stainless brake lines, Master cylinder plumbed.....all black fittings. Doing all soft lines, reservoirs, fittings in anodized black or brushed.

Wheels should be here soon, ID Luxury 3pc.
