      alignment specs for 68 firebird

      Hello everyone,

I am looking to get my 68 PT Firebird aligned this weekend and I'm not sure what to tell the alignment shop as far as specs. The car has power steering, been lowered 1 1/2 inches, and has 17x8 rims with low profile tires.

To add to the fun, I need to bring the specs in degrees, not inches. The alignment machine they use does not allow for measurements to be entered in inches.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

      Modifications?

This has been discussed before. Have you done a search?

I don't know if the specs for a firebird are the same as the Camaro, but here's a helpful site.

The only modifications are the ones I listed. I did not do the gulstrand (sp) mod. I did try searching because I figured this has been covered, but wasn't able to find the info I am looking for.

I also checked out David Pozzi's site, which is great. The only thing is he lists the settings for toe in inches. Does anyone know how to convert inches into degrees?

      Thanks again

Camber and Caster are measured in degrees. Toe is still measured by inches on most machines.
