Manual Ls1 engine with 1995 4L60E, possible?

Hi

Got a good deal (I hope) on a Ls1 engine, the owner stated it was from a Camaro 2001.

But the castings number on the block reads 12560626 = 99-00 what I can understand.
The Engine was originally with a manual gearbox and PCM reads (09354896) 1999-2000 LS1

The gearbox that followed was a early 4L60E from a -95 LT1 camaro (with non changeable bellhouse)
It came with a piece of the LT1 harness with the right connector.

The owner stated that this gearbox would fit the Ls1 engine and that the manual PCM just needed a new harness or changed pinout to work with the earlier 4L60E gearbox.



From what I understand the gearbox will fit the Ls1 if I get a crankshaft space.
But my concerns are on the electrical.

Can my PCM control this gearbox or will I need a stand alone TCU with harness ?
