      New Member With A Malibu

      Hello Everyone-

My name is Jackson and I have a 1979 Malibu Classic with a Landau top. Black and silver two tone, 17 in rims, black interior, LS1/4L60E engine tranny (still in progress), eaton posi with 373 rear gear, and much more. It's a pleasure to get on board with all of the other gear heads and find some folks that like the G body other than me.

      LS Question

Have you done your plumbing for fuel and if so are you changing out the fuel rail to a 98 version or buying the adaptors for the fuel inlets and running a external regulator or intank? I am actually in the middle of a frame off with the same car in the photo in combination with the LS1 build. I am really close to plumbing out the fuel and have been debating on the best route.

      Body Bushings/Myspace link

I have the full body urethane kit from energy. I have already installed the suspention urethane for both the front and rear, but still have the body mounts to do. I am expecting to have the body back on by next weekend. I will put up a post then.

You will have to log into your myspace account to see them but here is the link:

Just go to my photos and I have them arranged by month. Feel free to ask any questions about what I have done.

Nice 'Bu! I'm a big G-body fan myself, I have an '88 SS and have owned a few other Monte SS's, along with an '86 Cutlass Salon. They're fun cars to work on, and handle great with some minimal upgrades!
