      DIHPB vs. Caliper e-brake systems

Is there much difference in labor cost with installing a drum-in-hat parking brake system vs. a caliper with built-in e-brake system ?

What are the major pros and cons of each of these systems ?

      E-brakes

IMO id go with the in hat park brake- very simple the old actuating calipers circa 1980 leaves alot to be desired im using the 98-02 LS1 fbody setup on my car the 93-97 LT1 isnt too bad either you may have to watch caliper mounting in relation to the shock absorbers
      my .02c hope this helps

      Thanks Zman.

I found some info after my post that indicated that the DIHPB systems do hold better. It seems like a cleaner install too. All things considered, I came to the same conclusion.
