Time Crunch- Need Paint Suggestions

In about three weeks I will be moving and need to get my car ready to trailer. It has been at the bodyshop for 2 1/2 years, and to make a long story short, the work was not completed . At this moment I am not sure what I will be getting, but I think the shell will be in some sort of primer and the front clip will be bare metal and some stage of body work. There will also be two large holes in the doors from half finished door handle modifications. The undercarriage and interior were cleaned and wire wheeled prior to being dropped off and have had nothing done to them since.

So, I will take the subframe and differential over to move it, but will need to remove them once it is home in order to do something with the undercarriage. Here is where I need help. I am really short on time and have been thinking about using Zero-Rust spray cans for the floors as I do not relish spraying upside down. The same could be used for the back sides on the front clip. Or, I could get a HVLP gun and spray something, but would need some suggestions. I don't have a clue what to do with the interior. Any help would be great as I am stress'n over this one

you really need to to spray epoxy on it and then any work to do can be done over it and not have to be removed

So, something like DP90? What is the trick for spraying under the car? I can get a slight angle by lowering one side, but it does not take much for paint to come out the vent hole on the cup.

check out eastwood rust encapsulator, it is sold in spraycan or for spray via paint gun. We have used that on the last 2 projects, its holding up good so far. Sprays direct to metal and was able to shoot bedliner over it later.

2bad4ya- I have been looking at the Eastwood product also.

Has anyone used the DeVilbiss DeKup system? The literature states that the disposable cups allow spraying from any angle...

I thought about it myself but then my friend who runs a shop pointed out:

1. Still have to clean the gun
2. over 50.00 for a kit & adapter vs buying liners vs buying a spare cup.
3. How often will you use the setup

So I just put the $$$ saved in my pocket and ran by harbor freight and bought a 9.00 5piece plastic cup replacment kit.

you can use POR 15 also underneath,but the body use a good epoxy from SPI,PPG or some major company to protect it and work can be done over the top of it

I have the divlbliss cup system. Actually have a bunch. I used it when I was priming the car at home, but now there just sitting in a container in storage. It worked nice for everything but we use a different system at work so I have no need for them. I'll sell ya the whole getup cheap, and buy yourself some dp90 and spray everything but remeber if you have any rust to take car of it prior to priming or remember them for later to take care of it.
