Second Holley HP150 Pump Making Noise

Well... I am about fed up with the Holley HP150 pumps!

I bought my first HP150 and ran it to a non-return style regulator and the pump was quiet for the first 10 hours or so of normal street driving. Then the pump starting making noise, so I returned it to Summit Racing and they sent me a new pump.

This time I decided I would install a return-style regulator to relieve some of the load on the fuel pump. Bolted everything up, pump was quiet as ever, after about 10 hours or driving, pump started becoming loud again - wtf...

I am not sure if these HP150 pumps are just crap or what???

Only thing I can thing of is my fuel filter going from tank to inlet of pump may not be up to par and maybe it's causing the HP150 to work hard or something.

I am not really sure at this point, but I think I am going to send this HP150 back and go with an Aeromotive 11203. It pumps 150GPH and is about $50 cheaper.

I bought the HP150 because they advertise "quiet"... LOL!
