      Fuel pump wiring

I have a ram jet 502 motor with EFI... The wiring harness came with two leads that run out to the in-tank fuel pump - signal and ground. Are these the only two wires that go to the pump? The signal provides the power for the pump?
      Thanks,

      Ramjet Fuel pump

      Tom,
I put a RJ 502 in a 37 chevy and used an external aeromotive efi pump. If my memory serves me correctly those are the only two wires that go to the pump. They recieve signal from the ECU via fuel pump relay to control the pump. When you energize the ignition(turn the key on), it should turn the pump on for only a few seconds until you begin cranking over the motor. When it fires up then it should run constant. If you noticed they give you a very thick book for diagnosis / troubleshooting when you purchase the motor new. Hope this helps!
