I want to know how to post pictures...specifically the only method I can see to use is to enter the URL of the image?? What does that mean and is there any way to simply upload a picture from my computer? It would just be much easier ofr me...

You can either attach pictures to your post (you may have to click "Go Advanced" to get the option) or you can host your pictures on a website somewhere. If you don't have your own website, others use photobucket or flickr or the like for their hosting.
