      ttII and c5 brake kit

On my 69 camaro, I have installed a c5 front brake kit. Also, several months ago I purchase a set of torque thrust II 18x8 wheels for the front. They have been in the box and only open to inspect. I noticed the other day that they have a 4” backspace; so I mounted them and as many of you know the rim is hitting the caliper.

What should be the backspacing? Should I sell them? What other options do I have? Has anyone replace the hoop and adjusted the backspace? If so, what company did you use?

5/16" spacer is what you need and they will clear the calipers. The backspace however is most likely gonna keep you from being able to run those wheels. I know Weldcraft Wheels can widen and narrow wheels, but I don't know if they adjust backspacing. You might be able to give them a call to ask.
