      LSX headers

Has anyone tried these headers or anything else with luck on a 1st gen camaro with out rubbing issues. I am using ATS engine mount plates and the lee's steering box.

I know if I use the stainless works headers they will work but for $3000, I would rather find another route.

I think you are refering to the ATS headers, the ones in your first link are the stainless works headers, that is what I am running. I am using the ATS style mounts, with a 3rd gen steering box, and they fit with no rubbing or problems. The Stainless works headers can be found cheaper I believe.

You are right about the first link being SW headers. I just checked the link again and it says SW product on the bottom. Where can I find a set for a better price? I am ready to buy something now.

      thanks, for your help.

Jegs carries them, they have went up in price but they are still cheaper than your link. The SW headers are great and they fit great I like mine alot.

They look nice. I wonder if I should look for something thats coated to help keep the under hood heat down?

Then again, that would bring my over the $1000 mark im sure. :(

If you perform a search in the Project Updates forum there is a post by me about how to modify SW headers to work with ATS mounts.

If you are using a late model Saginaw 600 series steering box the mods may not be necessary.
