      Rear view mirror blocks vision

Car is my 69 Camaro with the original rear view mirror. Problem is that I am 6'5" and the mirror ends up being right in the middle of the windshield. No biggie when I'm going straight but cruising the canyons makes all right turns a bit annoying.

Anyone else out there have this issue?

Would the earlier mirror brackets work? They seem shorter after looking through some catalogs.

....what is behind us is not important...

they are all the same. I say chop it off and put a back up camera with LCD monitor in your dash.

When you say they are all the same are you referring to the brackets? The earlier ones look shorter in Rick's 1st Gen catalog. The earlier mirrors are not as wide which would help.

Anyone else? I know this thread topic is pretty
