Check out my new Speed Tech subframe - it's awesome!!!
Yesterday I went to Killer Customs and picked up my new Speed Tech subframe. I got to meet Blake(Killer69) and Roger, both very nice guys. I got to see a few of the projects they have on the go....all I can say about the quatily of work there is....
Back to the subframe. If anyone is considering getting a new subframe for a 68-74 Nova/67-69 Camaro/Firebird/Trans Am...I highly recommend this one. I got the bare frame as I already had their control arms and got a smoking deal on a Unisteer rack and pinion kit. The bare frame was $1000 cheaper than some of the other company's bare frames. I don't know if it's that my wallets bigger, it's that my will power is smaller. Oh btw Andy, the steering box is on the way. And yes to your house, not your neighbours.

Are the slots the UCA mounting points? If so, is there an insert to locate the UCA in the slot, or does it rely on torque on the mounting bolts?

Hmmm good point. I think it relies on torque for mounting them. Maybe Blake (Killer69) or someone else who has the frame can help out. I know it's to allow for better alignment. Here's a pic from the other side.

Kick aZZ Speed tech stuff is nice, not suprised, were is the 2nd gen version! Ha ha 2nd gens don't really need one, 1st gens need ALL the help they can get, I have several of both!

Got the Speed Tech high clearance control arms that come with the Speed Tech subframe complete package. Here's a few pics the control arms and sway bars. More pics in my build thread. These things are awesome. Speed Tech say you can put a 10" rim with 7" backspace with this package.

1.25" solid sway bar

For anyone interested in the Speed Tech subframe...I thought I'd post pics of it powder coated and assembled. This thing is awesome.
