i am building 2nd gen with 461 alm heads elec f/i 5 speed looking for suspension help heard qa1s stink need full package breaks are done stock spidels 18in wheels any help thanks

Hate to say it, but we need more info. What are your overall plans for the car? Budget? 18 in. wheels.... Ok, but what dimensions? What tire sizes? That'll all help get you some of the info you need.

245-255 f/t 275-285 r/r this car will be just fun on the street but looking for great fun hotkis kit has hollow bar no good may stay stock mine is a T/A THANKS FOR ANY HELP

sorry budget is open high and med high stock sub frame no mini tubs need to order steering box and pump also

Just get the full Hotchiks TVS kit & be done with it.

Well, the Hotchkis kit is very good for a street car. The front springs are very good, although some have found them to sit a bit high, and the rears are pretty good, but there is better. The front hollow bar is also very good, actually. It saves a couple pounds of weight, but your bar will do the job just fine. I'm running the Hotchkis front and rear springs on my '77 Camaro with a 1 1/4" front bar and a 80 Z28 rear bar. For shocks I'll be getting the Hotchkis tuned Bilsteins soon. I may wind up with the adjustable QA1 shocks that some people don't like, but being adjustable and rebuildable helps a little. I'm also running the Global West upper control arms, but you can also run the DSE arms, or the Speedtech arms, or the fully adjustable arms from SC&C. The complete setup from Global West is pretty good too, and not entirely expensive.

I went with the DSE upper arms & sway bar (same as Hotchkis), QA1 coil overs w/ 450# springs, QA1 12 way adj. front shocks, GW lower arm bushings for the stock lower arms to save some $, QA1 12 way adj. rear shocks & the Hotchkis rear spring kit.

I went with complete Hotchkis including their (Bilstien) shocks and DSE uppper and lower arms.

I have no feedback on the parts as the car is still on the rotisierrie (spelling) and the parts are in my wife's closet.
