Mini-Tub a Mustang

Ok so I finally stuck my head above the water line to see what everyone has been doing to their muscle cars. Seriously, I haven't even read a hot rod mag of any kind for the last ten years.
The whole deep dish in the rear modification, aka mini-tub looks great on a street car.

I see a lot of GM products on this forum and few mini tubbed Mustang or even Ford products. My guess is the uni-body of a Mustang is difficult to deal with?

Mini Tub Mustang owners, please post up with pics and if you don't mind, post up a few pics of the handy work done under the car.

Really "want" to mini-tub my 68' Mustang but not sure its worth it.




The pic below shows an 18x10 crying for me to mini tub the 9" under there. Any advice is much appreciated..

Mine not mini-tubbed but I wish it were. Here is a pic of one though. This moves the inner wheel house flush with the outside of the frame rail. Based I what I run on my car and what I have tried to run on my car I would think a 315 should be easy. But I suppose the leafs spring will have to be moved at the very least as well...or go to a coil-over conversion like the G-Bar.

Its not too bad on a Mustang. You really don't have to even touch the frame. Just tub flush with it. I kinda like the wheel flare look myself.
