      Anybody used Wait4me performance?

Sounds like they do a good job on pcm reprogramming, but anybody had a wire harness modified by them? (any pics?) or anybody recommend a good company for under $450.00?

I purchased a personal license from them a while back and have had good success e-mailing and downloading tunes through them for my car as well as my truck. As far as harnesses go, I 2nd using Speartech. They also provide good service after the sale.

good point but he really does a good job. I have no idea why he chose that for a name.

John Spears used to work for GM. He is the owner of Speartech.

I thought I would add my experience with wait 4 me. Jesse and his wife run the operation and Jesse is the main tuner with his wife doing alot of the reworks on the harnesses.

I had an 02 ls1 harness reworked and my cpu reprogrammed. Jesse really knows his stuff on wiring and I am a novice at best so if you are like me make sure to write down your question and his answer should you have any. My harness was missing the fuse block so I was expecting relays with the rework but had to put them in myself. The harness came back with the plug ins labeled with avery labels so you did know what was what. In my case since I was missing some of the harness they labeled the important wires that were cut and got rid of the non-essential ones. The tune was to delete out security, rear-end ratio change, tire size, the basics. I am still working bugs out but I don't at this time attribute any of them to wait 4 me. I cannot remember for sure but I believe it was $350-400 which is very reasonable.

I went hunting because I knew I say this question before. https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=50353

I tried to find a photo of the harness when it came back but appariently did not take one. It just comes back with averys saying what sensor or purpose it is for.

wait for me does good work. jesse has good service as well.
btw his name came from when he was doing tunes on the side before he started it as his full time business.

I will tell you though john at speartech has and will go out of his way to help you even if you don't buy his product which in my opinon speaks volumes and put's him at the top of my list when it's time to buy diffeernt items.

having said that both have been around for a number of year's and with good reason they take care of there customer's. if you've been in the lsx market any amount of time you will see second rate business don't last very long at all.

      Not completely satisfied

I did use Jesse for a reworked harness and tune. Everything looked good, and as several have stated, wires were labeled and retaped.
Engine did start right up but I had a problem with a battery drain. Checked several things and posted my problem on here. Called Jesse and did not get much help, was put off rather abruptly, he had no idea. Eventually, I tore down the wiring and isolated it to the 2 power connections going into the ECM. I had them switched, they were mislabeled. The battery power which is orange in the harness had a pink wire soldered as an extension, and the switched power lead which is pink had a white wire soldered on as an extension, why? I don't know. Switched them and everything is great! This is my experience, and it seems like an isolated incident, but it happens. Great price, but it did cost me a lot of time.
