I don't have one yet. But its from our sponsor Hood-latches.com Rick is a great guy (I owe you a couple of beers). Let me just say from the day I seen the first latch for the camaro on this site I knew this would be a must have for my car. Now months later and very anxtious to see when the Chevelle latch would be release. Now that I had the pleasure to set my eyes on that latch, the quality it is second to none.

      Brans, pm sent.

Jack took the door strikers but I will see if I have material to make more.

I think the next item in line will be some hood adjusters as my stock ones look like hell.

I plan on making or buying a lot of parts and having a brushed finished.

I am looking to get Fesler hinges and door vents, just waiting to see who will come out with the billet led taillight for the 70-72 chevelle

I started working on the frame. It was a bit rusty but after long hours or grinding it looks okay wish I would have spent a bit more time on it before I applied por-15

      I have a extra cross I also applied por-15

her are some pics of the latch

Next in line is the rear end and hopefully start putting all the suspension parts on in a week or so.

Here is the list of part I have accumilated.
parts to be added out back is 12 bolt rear posi unit 3.90 gears hotchkis coils, QA1 shock UMI upper and lower control arms( unless I can get some Currie or Metco) c5 z06 brakes with e-brake set up(almost done and no its not kore 3)
upfront will be ats spindles c5z06 brakes hotchkis coils and qa1 shock, hotchkis sway bar and for now stock upper and lower with energy bushings.(need $$$ for SPC or global west)

started to take the front are rear suspension of the car so I can put the parts I need onto the other frame.

Wife and kids were gone on Saturday so I spent the day on the car. Sunday morning I got a ear full from my son as he has to take part on everything that is done to the car.( I was warned by my 5 yr son)

So here are some pics. I will be reusing the hotchkis front and rear coils and qa1 shock front and rear. Only have about 250 miles on them. Also for know I will be using the stock front upper/lower control arms until I can afford the sc&c parts. I am glad I bought parts from ats when I did since I have the spindles and steering arms in boxes for almost a year.

had some time this weekend to remove the upper and lower control arms. As you can see the 30+ years have taken their toll. moog ball joints an energy bushings going in after a bit of por-15.

No real update but had time to put back in the stock front upper and lowers until I get some $$$ for the sc&c set. Qa1 went in and ats spindles. Now I just need some to put the cam, and springs in the motor.

After seeing widowmakers build I may have to redo some things.

      Here are some pics.
