      Good Bar in Vegas?

When I mean good, I mean something along the lines of "Bob's Country Bunker" from the Blues Brothers - with chickenwire across the stage and they play both kinds of music, country and western.

I've got a friend from the UK that is coming over to play in the World Series of Poker in July and has asked for a recommendation on a hard core, authentic country bar to go to.

      Thanks!

Two....Stoneys and Toby Keiths I love this bar. Stoneys is as close to the real Gilleys as you will ever see. Huge dance floor, two bars, stage, pool, bowling, etc. Big Texas state symbol on the front. South Strip near the South Point. Friday or Saturdays

Gillieys WAS sweet!! They closed it last summer in July. I was there for the last night, and let me tell you that was fun! Knowone cared at all about anything.... even more than normal Vegas!

I have had a really good time at Toby Keiths the last two times there.... not really what I would call authentic from where I come from.

How could you leave out the Bull... b/c what good is a country bar without a bull? I think Stoney's is theonly real country bar here anymore. I've haven't been over there yet, but hear from a lot of people that it's a good time (almost as good as Gilley's was).
