Iroc Steering Box Upgrade Leak
I Just upgraded my steeringbox on my 69 Firebird to the Iroc steering box and installed the Lee rag joint and flare fittings. I can't get the fittings to stop leaking. Are their any tricks to this? Help

If you have flare fittings going into the gear and it is an IROC gear, then you have the wrong fittings, you need o-ring seal type fittings!

The adapter fittings Lee provided are suppose to take care of the 0-ring style fittings. Now Lee tells me I should have taken the the metal fitting out of the pressure side before installing the adapter. Getting the adaptor out is becoming a royal pain.
Any ideas????

Got it out but destoyed it in the process. Ordered 2 more. It better work this time.
What have you guys done to make this work....Anyone.
