      Midori Sour color going on

First hint of the Midori sour going on my project. Hopefully it comes out like the photoshop that TonyL done for me. The 57 Chev shows abit of what it should look like on the body. I think I'll be pretty safe in regards to not seeing another 69 Camaro driving around town in this color. If anyone that looks here happen to know of or have a old messed up tail panel for a 68 or 67 camaro with the recessed gas cap area that they would be willing to cut out and sell please let me know. Thanks

Looks good! That 57 is nice as well.

Can't wait to see it all over the car.

I think it'll look sick. I love that color green. I still wish my shop had turned out closer to the green you had in mind. But the idea is there, and it looks solid. Hues of red are over done in my humble opinion. Green doesn't get a lot of love. Couple that with the lack of real "candy" type greens, and you'll have something that really stands out.

      I agree! I hate red.

I just saw a gallon of Ceder Green MEtallic at my supplier, I think I am going to pick it up. Not sure what I'll paint with it though! I also have a gallon of Teal Green MEtallic (looks more like emerald to me, and a gallon of Willow Green that I really like, but again, don't know what I'll do with it! I just like collecting cool colors.

A lime green Rod always looks sharp with the right wheels.

      That 57 isn't a 3 stage color?????

The wheels are Coddington Junkyard dog Old schools with the polished lip and satin aluminum centers. I think the satin aluminum will play down a little on the bright green, or at least that is my hope. A highly polished wheel I feel would be a little to busy, or distracting. The car is to come home next week for front clip fitting and I am going to test fit the rear tires and wheels to the DSE tubs and will have pics and a little insight then to what I have gotten into.

I agree with the satin center wheels.

Don't worry it will look great, and like you said, it won't be like all the other 69s around.

Good choice on the green imo! As it stands currently, orange is the new black (popular color). However in the near future I am willing to betcha its going to be green. You see alot of cars (all types) running around in orange right now, but give it a couple years (if that) and you will start to see some vivid green machines on th road!

I dunno if its advances in paint technology, or that everyone is getting tired of the same old colors.

I am going to shoot my 68 camaro HoK planet Green and do either white or black Z striping. As far as nice green candies... check out HoK candy apple green!

I agree with orange. I painted my camaro brilliant orange 3 years ago, and everyone made fun of me. Now I see it all the time!
