      98 Eldorado Wiper Setup

Digging through the old board, I came across a post that as a "by the way" said this:

I have a 98 eldo and I love the wiper setup on it, it uses a senser to tell the wipers if there is enough moisture on the windshield to cycle once. One step up from delay mode.
Wow.. that's pretty cool. Anyone know how this works and/or how hard it'd be to retrofit to our cars?

Yeah, that's the "Rain Sense" option.

The sensor "grid" is formed into the glass of the windshield itself.

Over $1000 for the Caddy replacement.

It would be trick however, but not possible to retrofit to my knowledge.

I've seen this deal, don't know how it works though.
