      Kiwi saying gidday :-)

      Hi,

I don't usually feel like the noob that has to say hello, but from what I've seen so far on this board, I'm a noob that needs to know my place and learn :-) I like that feeling, it's a good sign about a board.

I found the site googling for "roll cage mini truck" and came across this amazing thread : https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=10772
which is very much along the same lines as I would eventually like to do to my truck only more extreme than I want to accomplish. I initially signed because I had to tell that guy what I thought of his truck, but having read the "terms and conditions" it felt like I might spend more time here than a "hey, thats DAMN cool" post in the above thread.

I've got two projects going on, one in NZ, and one on my desk here in England to do while away from the other.

      The first project :

      Engine bay :

      http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3...4/DSC_2276.jpg

      Summary thread :

      http://www.diyefi.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=16 (no 56k/dsl beware)

The current project : www.diyefi.org (FreeEMS)

I might put up a thread about that in the fuel injection section if those in charge feel that it is appropriate to do so.

      "well-rounded performance"

      Very cool forum! :-)

      Fred.

If you like you old stuff, you might like this :

      www.oldschool.co.nz

It's mostly japanese stuff (most cars in NZ are) but there are some nice examples on there. Don't mind the atrocious language they use so freely, they are more or less harmless good blokes :-)

You didn't mean my truck when you said old did you? It's only a baby :-) On OS they don't even allow it in the projects section because it's too new ;-)

Hi, Thanks for all the welcomes :-) Good to see so many "fush and chups"ers coming out of the woodwork ;-)

I was subscribed to this thread (and that other one) but never got any notice of the replies, so, I'm sorry I was slow responding!

True, not all, but you couldn't honestly say it was common to see American muscle on our roads in general could you? They are thinly spread. Best bet is outside a burgerfuel branch lol.

MAN I miss burger fuel :-(

I promise, when I next make progress on it, I'll post pics in the project section for sure :-) Handling and stopping are fully me! The surge of the turbo is just icing :-)

      Cheers,

      Fred.
