      Oil On Paint Help!!

      dad started my brothers car with out the oil gage fitting in and got motor oil all over the engine compartment and out side of the paint how do i get it off!!!!!! need help fast!!!!

      Just give it a good bath with car wash soap... then you'll be able to see if any paint damage was done. The soap is a surfactant which will grab the oil and carry it off.

      Just remember that dishwashing soap removes all traces of wax and can harm the paint. If you use it remember to get some wax back on the car. I would just use a good quaility car wash soap.
