      Professional Parts Typhoon Intake

Hola!! Hey Ive been looking at buying the Typhoon intake for my motor and just wanted to get any feedback from owners of one. They are an awesome price pluse you get extruded rails as a nice little bonus. Im specifically wondering how the port finish is and how well it fits. I have come across alot of intakes specifically for small blocks though that come up a bit short in how the ports are finished and normally require a bit of time port matching them. Also wondering if the stock O rings are used and if so are the grooves for those in the right spots? More or less , if you own one or installed one and can give me a review about it, itd help me make up my mind if I should get this or pony up the extra cash for an LS6 intake. hopefully I hear good things about it cause I really want to buy it.

Do a search over on www.ls1tech.com . There seem to be some varying opinions on them. I think they had some issues with leaks early on, but I think that has been resolved. They do look great and are reasonably priced. You may want to wait and take a look at the new composite intake from Weiand.
