LS1 has Hooker headers. Will they work in 68?

My 2000 LS1 came with Hooker Super Comp Headers. Will these fit in a 68 camaro or do I need to buy those special LS1 swap headers?

What do u think I could sell them for? They are high temp black

If they are the headers off the 01 camaro they will not fit..
You need special conversion headers.. There are quite a few companys making them now.. Do a search, or try google

I just installed my set of cermaic coated hooker headers. I Used ATS plates. The headers are BEATIFUL. I dropped them in from the top of the engine, they came with bolts, lock washers, and gaskets and took all of 6 minutes to install. Easiest headers i have EVER isntalled on anything and best looking. They look better than the $1k SS Kooks headers/x pipe i had on my 01 Z06.

Because a 68 Camaro chassis is very different than a 2001 Camaro.

I just wanted to clear up that i used the 67-69 Hooker swap headers PN# 520-2288-1 not the 98+ LS1 headers.

John....put those headers up for sale at LS1tech.com. You'll sell them so fast your head will spin off.

I think the only place you will find them is through Frank @ ProdigyCustoms. They are made by StainlessWorks and sold through him. I don't know if it will fit your setup but you can check with Frank.

1-7/8"? The SW swap headers, at least the standard versions, are 1-3/4".
