New Rushforth Strutters Helped Me Win Good Guys!!

Well many, many, many thanks to Jon at DriverzInc and Jason Rushforth for designing some kick azz wheels!! They manufactured and delivered my wheels as promised last Thursday and just in time to debut them at the Good Guys show in Del Mar.

The wheels are awesome and have totally transformed my Pontiac Tempest. So much so that I actually won an award at show called the "Flowmaster American Thunder Award"!! This was the first time showing my vehicle at any show and man was I surprised that I won. It was fun enough just participating in the show. But there is no way in heck that I would have won had it not been for these new wheels.

Thanks again Jon and Jason for coming through!! You have earned yourselves a loyal and devoted customer and friend!!

Well here they are folks... the new Rushforth Strutters!!!

It is our sincere pleasure to have our wheels on your car, Johnny and couldn't have been happier to have you get a pick! Way to set the bar hign at your first Good Guys show!

The wheels look great on the car and definitely set it off but you guys wouldn't believe how clean and straight that car is. There is not one scratch or swirl in that black paint and it also helps having an attitude like Johnny's at a Good Guys show.

      Thanks Johnny!

Congrats! That is a great looking car, and those wheels are killer.

Congragulations! The wheels are great looking, but I think that drop dead gorgeous car with its super straight body and black paint probably helped a bit. That car is a knockout! Very tastefully done. Good job!

I'm not too keen on the split spoke design, but those look smoothe! Sweet wheels and car!

What a wonderful story with a fairy tale ending... really. Congratulations again Johnny, it was our pleasure to hang with you this weekend, and to be apart of your stunning ride. How did the video turn out I took with your camera of you driving through the winner's circle? I hope your kids were able to enjoy it....

The video came out great! The announcer totally butchered saying my last name. I'm gonna put a copy of it on YouTube and post a link here.

They are 19x8 with a 4 7/8" backspace and 20x10's with a 6.25" backspace. Front tires are 245/35/19, and reas are 285/30/20. They really fill up the wheel well. Johnny's rear fenders have every bit of outer fender lip still in tact, and the rear wheels just barely clear, without a rub.

We can try rough drafts showing all three of them and even a few of the un-released designs so you might be the first with a new style like Johnny's!

The taper in the split spokes matches the poncho emblem (DART) looks good, Great choice on the wheels!
