      you should not have to put any bracing in, unless your taking out the roof bracing, you should be able to carefully cut roof skin off, leaving the under bracing in tacked, look at steve1969ls1 web page shows a pic of rook off car and you see the bracing.
      you should be able to set new rook panel on and splice it in where the factory piece is spliced, goodluck

      I just spent two days welding in and working a patch in my roof. Same thing giant sun roof. In the end I wasn't happy with the outcome. I will pick up the new roof panel tomorrow locally. I already cut off the old roof panel. FRANK.

      Yea, it wasnt that bad to do. the hardest part was around the drip rails since the repo roof was tiny bit wide on my car.. your milage may vary

      did you just grind off the excess? or what did you do to fix the overlap?
