I have a 64 C10 and I am in the process of getting the suspension all set up. I did strickly bolt on stuff and did not notch the frame. I got new upper and lower control arms, drop spindles, new shocks, new coils and pan hard bar. I also added PS, 4 wheel disc brakes and switched over to 5 lugs on all four corners. I will also be relocating the fuel tank under the bed. The sky is the limit if you have the budget, I went lower budget/middle of the road. I will post pic's after it's finished.

Get a catalog from CPP, they have a lot of stuff for your year truck too.
The sales person I talked too was Jeff and he helped me a lot!

I did a '97 Chevy C1500 Silverado with a 4/6 drop at one time. Had it sitting on 20s and 22s. Handled good but after setting the Hotchkis sway bars in it, it transformed into a whole different animal. Actually made the truck entertaining to drive through my local canyon road.

Here's one in your body style. Don't get too excited, it's just a photo chop - but you get the point. The '72 is mine and the photo chop is the look I'll be going for when I start on it.

You would have to be stupid to put that much work into a stupid truck. Seriously 20's and 22's on an old farm truck. PLEASE.....

Your photo choped step side is bad ass. The stance on your photoshop is MONEY.

What? these two comments are totally contradictory. They're both trucks with what appear to be 20s and 22s on them. And a mid 50s chevy truck is anything but stupid.

What are you getting at here?

If something ain't your cup of tea that's fine, and you are free to say so. But, the tack you appear to be on won't fly.

      It's called "redneck" sarcasm!

I get it Rodger but that's because I've hung around you long enough to get it! LOL!

He meant it as a compliment!
