      69 Rear Spoiler mounting questions

We installed the spoiler on my 69 Camaro today.. Is there supposed to be a rubber gasket or anything inbetween the trunk lid and the spoiler?

Also is there somthing that fills the gap on the leading edge between the trunk lid and spoiler??

Trunk lid is a Goodmark and the spoiler is a OER.

      Thanks

On my 67 there is, there about 1/4 thick , when looking close at mine there's gap between spoiler and trunk ,I would think it's to allow water to drain off.

No gaskets, the leading edge does sit up a little when mounted flat, nothing fills that gap. Using repro stuff you might have to "play" with it a little to get things to fit correctly.

just put some seam sealer or dumb gum around the spoiler studs or the trunk holes so you won't get that mysterious puddles in your trunk.
