      Jack Pad / Plate Question?

I am thinking about adding jack pads/plates, like the one's that come on new cars, to my 55' frame. The frame is powder coated and I don't want to scratch it up when having to jack the car up.

Any idea on the correct name of the parts and a source?

      Thanks.

Here is a cheap tip that I use. I cut out four 6"x6" squares from an old automotive carpet I was tossing out. The kind of carpet with the insulation attached. Had to use some metal snips to cut that stuff. I just place one square on top of my jack anytime I lift something painted. Those squares have lasted me a few years now. I cut four of them just in case I have a car on four jackstands.

I got the disc for my jack and 4 rectangular pads for my jack stands. I still throw a shop rag folded over 2 or 3 times on top of them if it's gonna come in contact with a nice gloss painted surface.
