      67 Mustang Coupe

Thought I would just introduce myself here.

I am curently working on my 67 mustang coupe.

I have owned this coupe for 20 years and bought it when I was 16. It was originally an inline 6 that always dreamed of bigger things. The coupe stayed pretty stock until I saw a Mustang Monthly with the famous Eleanor fastback on the cover and within a week I decided to make some drastic changes to the car. I bought an original kit from Cinema Vehicle Services and started the teardown. That was 5 years ago, several job changes, a couple of kids and the project is still moving forward but is still far from complete.

I posted a couple of my renderings to give an idea of the end vision. Although this is not a true "Eleanor", it is an inspired project, spawned from her. Not a SuperSnake but a SuperCoupe.

      Here are my specs:

      Engine and Trani:
      99 Cobra 32 Valve 4.6 motor and T-45 Transmission
Aluminum Radiator and electric fan setup

      Rearend:
      Ford 9" w/31 spline axles, 3.7 gears

      Supension and Chassis:
Art Morrison Max G Chassis with Firestone Air Bag suspension
      Front- Mustang II
      Rear - Parallel 4 bar
Mustang Power Rack and Pinion Steering

      Electrical:
      Painless performance wiring harness
      Power windows
      Keyless entry
      air ride pro levelling system

      Brakes:
Front: Willwood 10.75" disks - 4 piston Dynalite calipers
Back: Wilwood disks- 4 Piston Dynalite calipers w/parking brake
      Tilton pedal assembly w/dual reservoir

      Wheels and Rims:
97-17" Mustang GT Rims w 255/45R17's all round

      Exterior Mods:
      -Cinema Vehicle Services "Eleanor" kit
      -Shaved driprails
      -shaved door handles
      - tubbed
      - Filled cowl vents
      - Flush fit glass
      - custom tailight panel and light assembly
      - body channeled to fit over Art Morrison chassis
      - smoothed firewall and engine compartment

      Interior:
      - custom dash
      - classic instruments all american series 3 guage setup
      - custom floor pan and carpeting
      - dynomat sound barrier insulation
      - 67 interior seats rebuilt and recovered to fit
      - custom seat restraints to add the kid seats (gotta have fun with the family)

Well there is my project. I'll post some updates and pictures soon of where I am at and what needs to be done.

This looks like a really nice project you have going on. Great work. I looked at your link. The frame and engine is gorgeous.
