      How Close Is Too Close

      Hello,

I have a set of Stainless Works headers with a rear steer rack and pinion. The steering shaft is rubbing the header. I have two options. I can dent the header with a hammer or send the headers to have the primary moved in. Denting the header may give me a 1/4". Is this enough? I could probably get an inch by moving the primary a little.

      Thanks.

Either one, you can dent if not too noticable, but I would probably move the tube,
