      Engine tune/dyno

What is an average cost for an engine tune/dyno? Also what accessories does the car need? Will I need alt., starter, fuel pump, fp reg.? Just trying to get an idea before I start calling.

Are you wanting to dyno the engine in the car (chassis dyno) or on a stand (engine dyno)?
Is you engine fuel injected and if so what ECM and tuning software are you using?

Dyno tuning is charged by the hour. I'm not sure what the charge is in your area, but in my area it's in the neighborhood of $125 per hour.

If you're looking for a tune on a chassis dyno, you better have every accessory on the engine and it better all be in good shape. Every minute you waste on the dyno trying to get the car started is big bucks out of your pocket.
