      Howdy from Nashville...

Hi, my name's Jeff. I'm finally getting started on my 67 Mustang convertible, and in the process of asking suspension rebuild questions on another board, a friend pointed me here. The convertible is going to be a pretty tame driver, but the next project will be a "matching" hardtop for me that will be...a little wilder. ;)

Anyway, this seemed like a place I'd feel comfortable, so I thought I'd join up and lurk for a while. Since everybody likes pictures, here's my fun stuff:

And since I know you are all just dying to see more pictures of the convertible...link.

I'm out west of town, in Ashland City, but I work in Brentwood.

Nice project, and if you get around to replacing those wheels, let me know. I might can find them a home...;)

Welcome aboard. Sweet '67. So what do you have planned for both of your rides?

The 98 Cobra is probably going to stay stock. I can defend stock, but to me there's no such thing on that car as "just a little" modification...it'd have to be go big or don't bother. And as I can't afford my definition of "go big," I'm better off leaving it alone.

The convertible is ostensibly my wife's car, so it's going to be pretty mild. 5.0, EFI, T5, Granada front brakes, drums out back. I'm debating suspension options now, but my debate is whether to do a basically stock rebuild or go a little further with options from Opentracker.

Once I'm "through" with the convertible, I'll pick up a 67 hardtop and go a little wilder on it for myself. ;)

i'm in old hickory, close to mt juliet.

from what i hear, the opentracker roller spring perches are a must do item. keep an eye out for me on the road, now that the weather is getting better. need to run this mustang a little & decide what i need to do first vs. the "want to" items!!
