      Tooo Sad..

My deepest condolences. I hope everybody recovers from the loss in their own time and in their own way. Take one day at a time and crying REALLY does help.

If you’re suggesting sending men with weapons of war to take my weapons of war, then I’m fairly certain that’s what’s called an act of war… and the definition of tyranny.which coincidentally is the reason for the second amendment to begin with!

      Jeff,

I am very sorry to hear about your mom's passing. May GOD bless you and the rest of your family. Like you, I know what you are going through. I lost my dad to lung cancer in 1997 at the young age of 51. My faith in Jesus Christ and the loving memories of time spent with my dad helped me get through the tougher times. I'm glad you got to spend quality time with your mom and develop a close relationship with her. My prayers are with you in this time of need.

      Jay

Jeff, sorry for your loss. Glad you had a better relationship before she was gone, you can take some comfort in that.

"Celebration of Life" last night was wonderful!

We had a "Celebration of Life" last night with over 150 people and it was an awesome healing experience. Dozens of coworkers from mom's past (she retired 2.5 years ago) showed up and shared killer stories. The cops that showed up all loved her, and one guy that I actually went to college with to be a cop (1984) showed up and I recognized him immediately. He said it was a trip working with all men but when he wanted to talk baseball he had to go to my mom. We had a great time, mom would have loved it, it is cool that she touched the hearts of so many people.

Im so sorry for your loss. Remember the good times and the advice she's given you. Shes never really gone if you keep her in your thoughts.

I lost my brother last year. We have the same laugh, so every time I laugh, he laughs with me.

      peace bro
